About Me

My photo
Mark Morra
Hi and welcome to my blog, Stillness Health. The big draw for me to yoga was that it forced my ever running mind to stay still and focus on one thing. As a school teacher, father, husband, brother, etc . . . there is a constant flow of errands, to do lists, and information running through my mind. I best approach each role when I can see it from a the state of a calm mind, as if my surroundings were moving in slow motion. The more I practice Ashtanga yoga, the better I am able to focus. Indeed as I get older with more responsibilities, the greater the need for stillness in my mind. I hope this blog serves all of my fellow practitioners who are seeking a state of equilibirium. Peace and blessings to you. Mark Morra
